Among Dr. Beisecker’s research grants and awards are an Intra-University Professorship from the University of Kansas to study rules of evidence and courtroom procedures (1990) and a grant from the University of Kansas General Research Fund for “Attributing Responsibility in Personal Injury Litigation” (1988-89).  He has served as associate editor of Forensic Reports (1989-92) and of a special issue on legal communication of Argumentation and Advocacy (1994). He also was a faculty participant in the Legal Services Advocacy Training Program sponsored by the American Bar Association Section of Litigation in Chicago (May 1992).
